La Porta a Viarolo is a historic tavern of the Parma Lowlands along the provincial road to Cremona, a few kilometers from the Parma Fairs and the Giuseppe Verdi airport, for eight years transformed into a family-run trattoria: Paola and her son Simone in the hall, Ciccio and daughter Nicole in the kitchen.
From the kitchen the chefs will prepare traditional dishes for you, such as the classic cold cuts with torta fritta, fresh and stuffed pasta (renowned the award-winning pumpkin tortelli, only in season), punta ripiena and trippa alla parmigiana, with some insertions of dishes revisited and personalized by the chef.
To finish the desserts of Nicole, a young and creative chef passionate about pastry, a good coffee and wines from the cellar curated by Simone. You will feel like family, savoring and experiencing an experience in the real cuisine and hospitality of Parma.
