Bike rental Cicletteria in Parma

Parma is the perfect city to discover by bike, for its short distances and because it’s flat, that’s why residents use the bike to move around in every season, especially in the city center, the town has in fact a network of bicycle paths almost everywhere.

There are two ways to rent a bike in town: rental at the Cicletteria located at the Railway station or through the app Bicincitta, that you need to use the bike sharing service scattered in the city.

Rental at the Cicletteria: a bike rental for both citizens and tourists wishing to move in town quickly and easily without worrying for parking or traffic jams.

At the Cicletteria are available 600 seats to park the bike, 81 seats to park scooter or moto and about 50 bikes for adult o kids for rental, cargo bike and three wheel bikes.
Baby seats and helmets are also available.

Requirements:
to rent a bike you must be over 16 and show a valid identity document to be leaved there. Under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.

There is also TEP to buy ticket and season ticket for the bus: from Monday to Friday from 8.10am to 12.50pm and from 2.15pm to 4.30pm.

To repair your own bike is available the BikeLab station: a place with tools to use for free.

Through the app Bicincitta: download the app on your smartphone, register to purchase daily tickets or for two days with your credit card. The bike sharing stations are 24.
It is always possible to check the availability of the bikes at the stations in real time directly with the app.
Bike Sharing allows to drop off the bike at the closest station to your destination that may be different from the pick up station.

If you’re staying in Parma for a long period, for example 7 days, it’s better to register for Mi muovo, in order to use the bike sharing for more than two days. The Mi muovo card can be purchased at the Cicletteria.
