From the Taro to the Po rivers by bicycle
An itinerary for nature lovers along the Taro – Po rivers path.
Itinerary: in Sissa Trecasali (Viarolo-Ronco Campo Canneto, San Quirico, Trecasali, Sissa, Gramignazzo, Torricella and Coltaro)
When: all year long
Duration: 25 km, 4 hours
The first part of the itinerary is along the Taro bike path from Viarolo direction Gramignazzo.
After 12 km you can turn towards Sissa where it is possible to visit the Rocca dei Terzi (check the opening days). From Sissa turn onto the Taro path direction Borgonovo. From Borgonovo carry on towards Gramignazzo.
In Gramignazzo starts the Po bike path direction Coltaro and in Torricella you can stop to visit the Regional Port where you may also rent bicycles and get assistance.
At the port, on reservation, by email it is possible to do a boat trip with the boatmen of the Ass.ne Nautica di Torricella.
The itinerary continues in direction Coltaro where you may stop and visit the park Boschi Maria Luigia and its equipped restoration point “Lo Storione”.
