The Rocca has hosted since 1972 to an exceptional records collection, left by journalist Bruno Slawitz, born in Noceto in 1907 and died in Milano in 1968: a melomaniac, music critic and consultant of a record company which allowed him to gather his rare collection. The collection is divided into three main sections:

Historical section: including 1265 78 rpm records with the voices of Fedora Barbieri, Enrico Caruso, Mafalda Favero, Maria Callas, Titta Ruffo.

Opera section: including 377 complete works of composers such as Beethoven, Boito, Debussy, Mascagni, Mozart, Puccini, Ravel, Rossini, Verdi and Wagner.

Symphonic section: including 450 titles of authors like Bach, Beethoven, Mahler, Mozart, Rossini, Schubert, Verdi and Vivaldi.

The Slawitz collection has been also enriched by records donated by the the Municipality.
