Museo Uomo ambiente cantina

The idea of the museum has ancient origins. It comes from the many researches made by the teachers and students of the Elementary school in Bazzano, from the voluntary work and passion of those who have always livened up the village bringing back old works now disappeared.

From this idea the Cultural group IL Camino has developed a project for an interactive and virtual museum thanks to the contribution by the Cantini family.

The aim of this project is not the creation of a simple museum of agricultural civilization. The objects have to talk, tell about themselves and the environments in which they belonged and were used, also bringing at the museum the territory, the landscape, the men. For this reason, at the museum, has been organized an archive of the objects of the territory. This archive will give the chance to display thematic itineraries and to know better the world of the objects preserved.

The exhibitions are developed in three parts: From hemp to fabric and From vine to wine.

The exhibition takes visitors to know the tecniques of products making from the hemp and the vine, involving also emotions, taking visitors to new discoverings, imagining a relation between people from the past generations, developing the idea of entering a house still alive, where the fireplace is lighten up, songs are still in the air, tools are like they’ve just been used and you can do it again.
