The small mountain village near Berceto where the painter Martino Jasoni was born pays him a tribute 50 years after his death opening a museum dedicated to his artworks hosted at the old Casa Corchia.

After moving to the States at the beginning of the 20th century and studying side by side with Walt Disney, Jasoni came back to Corchia in 1924 and displayed his works at the Biennale of Venice in 1936.

The new museum plays host to his visionary paintings focusing on subjects such as emigration and alienation or drawing inspiration from sacred, onirical and rural topics.
