Early records of the church of Santissima Trinità date back to 1230 and its facade actually shows some Romanesque features. Widened in 1755, it later underwent several changes.
The interior is divided into three naves, with a 18th century marble and wrought iron balustrade in the presbitery. The high altar dates back to the same century.
Famous people are buried in the church; among them the abbot and poet Innocenzo Frugoni and the painter Baldrighi.
