Club of the 27
The club was founded in 1958 as a tribute to Giuseppe Verdi, one of the greatest composers of all times, and spread his art around the world.
The club gathers 27 members, as many as the operas written by the Maestro, and each member is named after one of them.
Members organize operas and concerts, conferences, meetings, competitions for the young singers and the Cavalierato di Verdi, a prize for people or associations devoted to art and music.
