Origins: Dsèvvod wears a chequered jacket, short trousers and a tricorn hat in blue and yellow, the colours of the Municipality.
A clever character, disguising his cunning behind a dull behaviour, Dsèvvod was probably introduced to Parma by the French in the second half of 18th century, taking the place of the older mask Finocchio.
