XIII Festival Verdi

Parma and Busseto, 16 September – 16 October 2023

Inauguration with the overwhelming Verdi Street Parade; The Lombards at the first Crusade; The Troubadour; Falstaff. Everything in the world is a joke; Nabucco in concert form; Requiem Mass; Verdi Gala.Pier Luigi Pizzi, Davide Livermore, Manuel Renga sign the three new productions, which will see Francesco Lanzillotta, Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Alessandro Palumbo on the podium respectively, while Giampaolo Bisanti will conduct Nabucco and Omer Meir Wellber the Verdi Gala.

Among the protagonists in scene, Eleonora Buratto, Francesca Dotto, Lidia Fridman, Federica Lombardi, Marta Torbidoni, Clementine Margaine, Julija Matočkina, Marco Ciaponi, Freddie De Tommaso, Gregory Kunde, Riccardo Massi, Antonio Poli, Giovanni Sala, Elia Fabbian, Marko Mimica, Vladimir Stoyanov , Franco Vassallo, Markus Werba, Michele Pertusi, Marco Spotti.

The collaboration with La Toscanini, the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and with the Chorus of the Teatro Regio di Parma prepared by Martino Faggiani is renewed. The charity gala Fire of joy, concerts and shows at the Teatro Regio in Parma, at the Giuseppe Verdi Theater in Busseto and at the Girolamo Magnani Theater in Fidenza.

At the Wopa the lyrical-theatrical work Othello Circus and the interactive Opera Crime. At the Palazzo dell’Agricoltore the engaging experience of In bed with Verdi and at the Teatro Regio Alessandro Preziosi in Literally Verdi.

Shuttle service, in collaboration with Tep, for Busseto and Fidenza on show days.
