I Lombardi alla prima Crociata, Rigoletto, Macbeth in the french version, directed by da Daniele Callegari, Alessandro Palumbo, Roberto Abbado, in the new stage settings created by Hugo de Ana, Pierfrancesco Maestrini, Yannis Kokkos.
Michele Mariotti will conduct for the first time the Ernani, as a concert. Valerij Gergiev protagonist of a symponic concert, Luca Salsi of the Gala Verdiano.
Among the interpreters Enkhbat Amartuvshin, Roberto Aronica, Yolanda Auyanet, Giorgio Berrugi, Jean-François Borras, Eleonora Buratto, Michele Pertusi, Dimitri Platanias, Davinia Rodriguez, Fabio Sartori, Roberto Tagliavini, Riccardo Zanellato, with the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini, the choir of the Teatro Regio, the artistic groups of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai. Luigi Lo Cascio and Marco Baliani the protagonists of AroundVerdi.

Opening parade from the Regio theatre of Parma to Piazza Picelli and Piazza Duomo where the parade will end with a great show
Festival Verdi preview, opening of Verdi Off

Actors, singers and dancers “sull’ali dorate”.
The opening of Verdi Off features a celebration of music on the streets to share joy and fun. Actors, musicians, singers, dancers, circus artists will perform shows dedicated to Verdi and his works, in many different ways to create a huge itinerant event under the stars. 
All participants are invited to wear green outifts.
