September, a celebration of food in Parma
Promoting the territory of Parma, telling its uniqueness through its gastronomic richness and its supply chains: PDO Parmigiano Reggiano and milk, PDO Prosciutto di Parma, pasta, tomato and anchovies. This is the philosophy of “Gastronomic September”: from August 30 to September 27, the calendar of events is rich, and it will have a widespread nature, between the historic city center and the Parma province.

A welcome… with taste!
Parma, capital of the Food Valley and UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, welcomes tourists and food lovers with a special tribute: a “Tasty Box”, a treasure chest that contains the food excellences of the area. How to get it? Simple: just spend a Saturday night in a hotel in Parma.

Verdi’s music meets the art of the table
“Gastronomic September” is also… music, in collaboration with the Teatro Regio of Parma. Eight appointments scheduled: in the spirit of Verdi OFF, the idea is to bring the emotions of Verdi’s music among people. The restaurants are thus transformed into special stages, with a reference to the tradition of storytellers.

A delicious event spread throughout the area
This year “Gastronomic September” will have a widespread character, with events throughout the territory: merit of restaurateurs, including the Parma Quality Restaurants team, bartenders and owners of gastronomies who, as modern storytellers in the kitchen, will tell the identity of the Food Valley through its supply chains. Each week is dedicated to a different product.

Tomato – from August 30 to September 5;
PDO Prosciutto di Parma – from September 6 to 12;
PDO Parmigiano Reggiano and dairy products – from September 13 to 19;
Pasta and Anchovies- from September 20 to 27

Parma meets Bergamo
It is a marriage of flavors between Parma and Bergamo that is celebrated on September 1st at the Reggia di Colorno: the Parma Quality Restaurants team is led by the three Michelin stars chef Chicco Cerea.
Cost per person € 75,00. Tickets available from August 1st.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to Emporio Solidale Parma

Parma meets Genova
The twinning between Parma and Genova, born in the name of music, finds its right celebration even at the table: thanks to the chefs of Parma Quality Restaurants and chef Matteo Losio, who sign a multi-handed dinner.
Cost per person € 75,00. Tickets available from August 1st.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to Emporio Solidale Parma.

Musica Maestro, also in the kitchen: on September 24, at the Paganini Auditorium in Parma, the opera, directed by director Gianmaria Aliverti, meets the art of cooking, by the Parma Quality Restaurants chefs.
