The exhibition presents 72 paintings and 4 sculptures by one of the most peculiar and brilliant of the 20th century in Italy, Antonio Ligabue, and it’s completed with 15 works by Michele Vitaloni who shares with the artist from Gualtieri a particular empathy for the natural and animal world.
The setting is of great visual and theatrical impact, thought especially for the event by Cesare Inzerillo to create an atmosphere of fusion between painting and sculpture, to take visitors right into the creative imagination of Ligabue, analysing the most typical subjects of the artist from Reggio.
