The culture of food sustainability is fundamental for a new approach to nutrition and the effort of BCFN is growing this increasing comprehension of sustainability and the sense of urgency that must force us to fight the global food paradoxes, such as widespread famine and obesity, overexploitation of natural resources, ramping waste of food from the field to the table), for a radical change towards sustainable nutrition.
This event will promote knowledge of food and environment and good practice for the future of the planet and its inhabitants. For this reason the digital and multidisciplinary itinerary, located at the San Ludovico gallery, is addressed to everyone and the Spazio A is created for students, the main actors of this necessary change.
Under the arcades of the Town hall there will be a photo exhibition on display until March 22 (International day of Water), as a moment of reflection on the major issues related to food with a strong visual impact, thanks to the partnership with National Geographic Italy. Visitors will tour among the numerous “food worlds” through the most significant shots from the National Geographic archives and selected especially for this space.
